Painted Custom Cabinets with Soapstone Countertops

   This kitchen is in the Roselle area just off of Kirkwood Highway and Newport Gap Pike.  The client wanted the cabinets to have a rustic colonial look that also had an ecletic feel.  We used two paint colors classic burgundy and slate blue.  The cabinetry is hand distressed and then glazed with a  coffee colored glaze.  The countertops and sink are unoiled soapstone with Rohl fixtures.  We also utilized a slim hood insert from Broan to create a floating range hood similar to what the client had showed to us in a magazine.  To complete the eclectic look mixed hardware was chosen from Richelieu and antique inset hinges were used.
